Right now it's looking like 50% chance of rain. I'm not sure what criteria we'll use to reschedule but it's definitely looking like rain.

That is an inaccurate statement. The trunk space in the M2 is not of adequate size to house the equipment necessary to run a Doppler radar system. Even if it were, the chassis would need significant upgrades in order to support the weight. The electrical system would require massive upgrades in order to power such a system. The cost of such a system would run over $1 million easily which is slightly out of my budget. Driving dynamics and performance would suffer significantly if such a system were to be integrated.

Then there is the safety aspect. Having such a system fitted to the M2 would result in significant RF radiation exposure. Side effects such as radiation burns and cancer would probably result in premature death.

Though I have considered the feasibility, it doesn't seem like a good idea.

Looks like all that rain that was supposed to come is coming all today. This Saturday is looking sunny and warm. I will be bringing my designated driver so I can enjoy some beers with the bbq.

Here is my proposal. I won't be offended if you guys want to switch it up.

- Meet @ Texas Roadhouse on NE corner of 289 & 380 @ ~9:30am
- Start driving @ ~10am
- 289 northbound
- Left on Refuge Rd. which dead ends at Hagerman Wildlife Refuge where we will stop for a bit
- Refuge Rd to 289 southbound, turn left @ 82, left on 91, U turn to Cackle & Oink BBQ for food
- 91 to 82 to 289 south

I'm in. All washed up and ready for Saturday.

I think a headcount is good so we don't take off without leaving anyone. I know some of us have slower colors so I understand.

Not sure where everyone from Austin posts but I know there are M2s down there, especially a pink one lol. You should start a thread and try to organize a meet. We started with 3 and had 7 at one point. Just need to get the ball rolling.
