I ordered mine directly from Dinan, it obviously didn't make a big change in delivery time.

I'll try to do sound and pictures on Saturday. The right tips are currently lower than the left, but the shop told me to drive around go through several heat cycles before it comes back on Saturday for them to do a final fitment as the stainless steel will change shape somewhat. So far though, the fitment seems better than many past examples I have seen. The exhaust and muffler are both tucked up nicely behind and near the RKP diffuser.

My little contribution. You know I’ve got to double post it in the “what did you do today...” thread.

Man that sounds really good In my opinion! Do you have a resonator delete as well? Makes me want to order one now that they are shipping out

Thanks! No res delete, just a catless downpipe and that axle back. I’d be curious to hear what the res delete would add but I’m not sure if it’s necessary

Sounds great! Super aggressive but still has a nice tone to it. I'm assuming that clip is with the valves open?

I'm running a Vrsf catless DP and dinan mid pipe to the stock muffler. I wonder how much gnarlier it'll sound with a dinan exhaust.

Good news! EAS was able to fix the install problem (looks like it was related to the exhaust being installed with the valve motor in the open position because of my Macht Schnell EVC), the car sounds great now.

I am mostly driving around on the Stage 2 93 octane BM3 map with burbles off and the valve set to closed. When I want to rip a little harder and want to hear it sing, then I open the valves.

The terrible drone is gone now with the valves closed, it makes highway driving and driving around in neighborhoods so much more pleasant.

Very gnarly. Here's my car with that exact setup:

Well, after about a month of running with the exhaust fixed, I have to say I am super happy.

Running with the valves closed and no more burble is just about perfect. Still nice and loud, but with zero drone at all.

The exhaust looks great with the big tips, and opening it up occasionally is super fun. I'm planning on having it set to it's final position (it needs to go up slightly on the right side) and then driving GMR to really let it sing.

I'm also going to see how the brakes hold up. After the power increase moving from stock to 93 octane stage 2, I don't think the brakes are up to the task anymore.

I expect to swap out for the Ferodo 2500's, stainless steel lines, and some motul fluid.

So, after driving around on this setup for about 2 months I have noticed a few things:

1. I have now developed a slight buzzing in the exhaust that is audible at parking lot speeds.

2. The setup has a small bit of drone lower in the revs.

3. The setup could be a little quieter than it currently is (with the valves open it is way too loud, so I essentially run all day to day driving with the valves shut in sport.)

4. I would like the tone to be slightly deeper if possible.

To address all these things, I am going to reinstall the stock resonator and do a nut and bolt check to see if that addresses the rattle/buzz.

I'll let you all know how that goes.

So I had EAS reinstall the stock resonator yesterday. Due to where it was cut, they had to re-weld the front portion of the pipe as there was not enough pipe in front of the resonator to get a good seal with a clamp.

I was hoping to be able to swap the pieces with just a set of clamps, but it looks like that is not easily possible. So far, both the drone and low speed buzzing are completely reduced. However, there is still a definite volume increase between 2,500 and 3,000 RPM as there was before. Now, it doesn't include a drone, but it is still less than ideal from my perspective.

The car is very slightly quieter with the valves closed, and has a nice deeper tone. However, the interesting note is that the car appears significantly quieter with the valves open than before. It is still very loud, but there is a more noticeable volume change there. Overall, I am happy with the change.

Sounds like it still has drone.
