Two different days when I left work and my car said it was 114 F and 117 F degrees outside. I received an automatic high beam error. Stating that the camera was not clear and this would effect the automatic high beams. It stated I needed to clean the windshield in front of the camera. After driving a short distance and the car's outside temperature reading dropped into the 90s and the warning went away.

It appears if the temperature is hot enough outside to register in my car as over 100 F I get this warning? And my windshield is very clean, I am weird about that.

I am not really concerned, but wondered if anyone else has had any oddities like this?

I've had many oddities ike this... just today the TPMS warned me of all tires being short 1 or 2 psi when they are all fine. When I play with the M1/M2 buttons in a certain sequence, the screen goes blank for a few seconds, RPM surge in efficent mode... so many little glitches.

Man, this is concerning, given how I have a 2021 on order. So many little bugs I'm reading about lately. There's that other issue where AC stops working because something inside freezes.

BTW, can auto highbeam be turned off with idrive?

Yes, you have to turn the auto high beams on with a button located at the end of the left steering column stalk.

And IMO I wouldn't be too concerned over the little things. I am pretty sure every car made has little quirks.
