M2 Comp to M3 CS

I have had an M2 on order for months... was scheduled to be delivered the end of this month... black on black w orange stitching and m performance spoiler. Was lurking over on the M3 CS forum and huge discounts were being had. Made a handful of calls and got an incredible deal on this new SMB CS. Was looking forward to the M2 Comp but this was just too good to pass up.

15% off MSRP before $4250 in rebates with base money factor. Took a little bath on my trade but justified it w nearly 20k off sticker w incentives...

Excellent deal! Can’t blame you for doing it, the CS is fantastic. If I was gonna get a DCT, I would have gotten a CS instead of my M2c

Great deal at Braman? They have a bad rep on here.

What’s the monthly come out to and how much down? If you don’t mind posting. Also looking to get one.

Versus paying MSRP on the M2 Competition? That's a smoking deal. Congratulations! That would be understandably hard to pass up

Because of the high residual on these (based on MSRP) and great discount, these are leasing out for less than a M2C. So if you can live with some of the things it doesn't have (comfort access, heated steering wheel, center console, etc.) or are interested in hitting the track, these are a smoking deal and damn they look good.

Yes believe it or not...super easy to work with. Salesman is a young hustler. Had a deal negotiated over the phone in an hour and drove down from N Florida. 36/15 about $900 month

Congrats!! Love the colour and the car. You made a good decision. I was looking for an M3cs when I was getting my M2C but I couldn’t find any in the spec I wanted. As soon as I took delivery, the dealerships were flooded with CS’s. I still have an eye on one and Im hoping no one buys it in the next month or so, lol.

For the lease payment of $900 for the M3cs vs. $1200 for the 2019 M2 Comp you did well. Enjoy!

Nobody wants a $100k M3. They've been sitting around, so not too surprised by good deals. Still makes for a very expensive M3. However, as a lease, seems to make pretty good sense.
Add this to last time I checked, you could get a 2017 M3/4 competition with a retail of $90k for low 60's. Not exactly holding their value. Not even close to the way an M2 is holding value.

That blue is incredible. Is it weird that's the part I'm most jealous of?

Look man, I'm on your side hahah M2C for me is the best also. But in terms of speed, quality, and features, the CS is a much better car period. If you had to choose one or the other for free, you would be crazy to go for an M2C over an M3/4 CS
