DS2500 on M2 rear
Is it normal that the DS2500 pads are couple of mm smaller in size than the OEM and cause the pad to jiggle in the caliper? I think it is missing the metal plate that covers the OEM ones.
Did I get the wrong ones? |

Yes, it is completely normal. Each manufacturer has their own tolerances and some could be an mm or so off. Sometimes if you transfer the sound deadening plates over from your OEM pads the rattle can be reduced.

R4S is a performance street pad. DS2500 is a hybrid street/track pad. You will have a lot more bite with the DS2500 on and off of the track. Just keep in mind that DS2500 is not a full track pad so you still can't push it too hard on the track.

R4S simply didn't hold up for aggressive street use.
