What happens? It comes off and you drive over it?
First time the carbon weave completely unraveled and they replaced it under warranty. New one continues to come away from the stock bumper due to continuous downforce. I started running with tape over it to prevent additional airflow to bring it away from the bumper. I just had it reinstalled and my entire front bumper is now filled with holes and hardware to hold it down. We'll see what happens. I really love the way it looks. :
Godspeed!

So with a 10mm spacer you are at an offset of +25. Do you think I will have issues with the front specs below? Also, how much clearance do you have running 18s with the front calipers? Thank you!

Fronts: 18x9.5 +22 with 255/40/18 Michelin 4s
Rears: 19x10.5 + 34 with 275/35/19 Michelin 4s

With 265/35/18 all around. Run a 10mm front spacer to clear suspension since I have extended studs and lugnut conversion. I needed it non staggered set to rotate for track duties but it works out I like the way it looks and drives daily in that configuration

Thanks for the pictures!!

I want to put the M Performance DTM wing on mine. I have a 2017 in LBB. Now I have an idea of how it would look.

Nice job!!

To the OP... no signature wheels on that car!? you guys dial in offsets you need a set on that M2!
I thought it was not a moving violation? Let me check..no edits on mine...

Looks like they can yank you for it. Jeez, only really shitty cops would do that. So far no one's said a word however, and i've been doing it for over 10 years.
It's not a moving violation so no points to your record. It's a fix it ticket. I've gotten 4 and just pay the $25 dollar dismissal fee and show correction. I have no intentions on drilling holes in my good front bumper and also no intentions on driving with my crappy bumper installed with the plate mounted to it. California can suck it requiring a front plate, the fuck out of here! Any cop wasting both our time pulling me over for this can receive the shittiest attitude ever during the transaction.

Probably rub a bit if you run 265 by the fender, not a huge deal. I run a 12mm spacer on 18s at 9.5 in front, so I'm around ET23, only rub on max compression.

Are you running 265s? Based on your reply I should be good at 255s?

I like the look. The car looks properly balanced. I took my San Marino Blue 2017 M3 Comp with DINAN S2 to race training and one track day. Won't track it too much now though. Too many marbles shot on paint. Drive real race cars now anyway. Nice paint certainly justifies clear front wrap. Enjoy your new beast. It's beautiful.

The reason I won't get an M2 is because of its rear but I really like what you've done with it. Well done!

Also...I never sport a front plate. I've had two tickets and they were both worth paying. I live in Vancouver, BC and got pulled over for one of them.

I went to court on no front plate...

I spoke with a court somebody before my case was called.

They dismissed the no front plate and said go home.

Op car looks sharp ✊🏿

I run both, 255/275 on stock 437m (no rubbing at all) and 265 square on 18" 9.5 with r888r. You'll need negative camber if you're gonna be running 265 at ET22, especially when lowered

Why don't you replace the red reflectors with black in the rear or tint them dark?

I and others drive without a front plate on the daily (mine's not a daily but still). Never had an issue. They cant pull you over for it. Only issue is if you street park a lot around L.A., then you can get a meter maid tick. Don't be skurrred.
Great advice from all my cop buddies, if you don't place it in your windshield then it typically doesn't draw attention...never once put a front plate on any of my or wife's cars

Two years in Cali without a front plate. No issues. Very common to see luxury/sports cars with no front plates here.
