M2 service needs for Nurbergring
I'm off to the Nurbergring in 2 weeks in my 2016 M2 6k miles.
What top items do I need to get done if I have it serviced? I'm nervous that the key fob will only highlight standard basic service needs. What should I specify / instruct BMW to do with a full track day in mind? All help very Welcome! |

Well I don't think anything needs specially 'servicing' as in BMW intervals etc but there's plenty of enhancements to make.
Most popular probably for cost/usefulness might be the brake lines, upgrading these can be worthwhile.

There is nothing that really needs to be done prior to a track-day apart from checking fluids, tyres and make sure the wheels are bolted on tight.
The ring is a low breaking circuit so not too heavy on the pads (once you get an idea of the track). but if you wanted extra bite DS2500 are a nice mid pad (street and track) and only around £100 per axle. enjoy yourself and looking forward to the pics on your return! |
