Not as yet - much as I'm tempted I don't know if the potential cost to change from my current M2 with a few M Perf goodies will be worth it.

By then I might want to try a different car rather than an iteration of what I've got already (which I'm very happy with BTW!).

I'm definitely watching the CS threads with interest though.

Did you approach multiple dealers before putting deposit down? Are all dealers asking for deposits?

Just my local dealer...10+ car history with them and I think if they get an allocation for sure its mine. Still a long long way to go though, I'd be expecting quite a few changes to make it worth my while. Very happy actually in the Mini JCW, such a little beast....different leagues though

I'm on the list at three dealers and only 1st at one of them, I don't think they shift too many M cars so not holding out much hope with them.

One of the others has had several M4 GTS allocations but I'm not very high up on their list.

Due to a change in circumstances I was a bit late to the party, however doesn't seem to have affected you much Chris

On a list at 3 crikey. If theyre all in the same name BMW UK will know whats what I'm sure

I was pretty surprised to be on the list 1st at this stage yes. Its quite a big group dealer but not sure if they had many/any M4 GTS. I asked about an M3 30 jahre also but no..... so maybe not a huge volume M dealer. Only time will tell.

I am not fussed to be honest - most of the low volume M cars are hugely overpriced and tank in value short term.

But I also never seem to buy the same car twice so it might be time for something else. Kid on the way may result in an E63s or something.

I am on the list at my dealer but not sure I'd take an allocation of a CS. I'm really hoping for a CSL/GTS variant. I'll reserve judgement until I see the specs on a CS, and also the potential of a CSL.

I think quite a few feel in this situation...any GTS news might be 12-18 months away depending on how BMW play this. For the F82 GTS as you know came first with CS about a year later trickling down some of the kit and aero, hmmm.

I'm on the list at my usual dealer at #1. When I picked up my M2 in May'16 I left the deposit in for the CS.

I don't think there will be a CSL as that's not in line with what BMW have been doing for the M4. The GTS will likely be too niche for me to use as an everyday car, parked on the street, one-car family with a baby!

I'd just be happy with an M2 Conpetition Package for a small premium. Definitely not in the market for a hardcore GTS as mine will be a daily driver.

I have a feeling the M2 CS will be pricey and too rich for me.

Hi Folks,

Newbie on this site here. Currently drive an r8 spyder and and was thinking to buy a M2 for a daily. The dealer here can get me a new 67 plate early September but been holding off due to the CS coming next year. Stuck in 2 minds. Shall I just go for one or wait as it's not too long before a newer model arrives next year?
