The things that were most appealing to me about the CS are 1 - the color, 2 - carbon roof, 3 - carbon hood 4 - CS exists as the ultimate expression of the M2. I have long admired the M2 platform and the CS is as good as it gets. Definitely could have saved some $$ by starting with the competition but to me the CS is the one.

There are many M2's on the road. Every part I listed is available for the M2 competition and the OG M2. Most of them also fit the M3/4.

That's where I think people also forget how rare 564 cars really is... because when you get to the secondary market and really want a clean unmodified car after a few years between customizers, accidents and attrition... it drops to sub 400 pretty fast.
Cars are meant to be driven. This is going to be used but well cared for. I'm in the midwest so it will certainly be stored until spring. However once weather permits it will be used as intended. In the past I have modified many cars. I have both parted them out and sold as a complete package. Both worked out financially for me. If you put together a well designed package, there is value to certain people.

haha - not planning on it. The wheels and brakes will likely be up for grabs but the trunk, spoiler, OE seats, etc will stay with the car.

The e92 was sold recently. Time for a new project. A great customer wanted it and we put a deal together that was good for both of us.

Thanks for the replies!

I am curious to hear whether the brake upgrade is truly an upgrade over 2NH.

That's my hometown area. I'm hoping to have the CS out at RA in May as well as hopefully for the CCA event in the fall if not in between too. I still have a few high school class mates I keep in touch with periodically up there, one that owns a few automotive shops and a number of exotics as well.

Enjoy!

You are welcome

40 lb weight savings, ability to fit 18" wheels, true 2-piece rotor, significantly more rotor cooling vanes, j-hook over drilled (which tend to crack), lower cost consumables, higher quality caliper and caliper pistons. So, Yes, in every way.

I would need to double check weight of stock but I believe 3 to 4 lbs per corner.

Here we Go - E88's and MSI Studs installed. It will definitely look better once lowered.

This spec clears the brakes - NO SPACERS needed.

Not yet - we have an event next week comparing the car in stock form on track to an M2 modified by Turn 14. Once that's done the mods begin!
