Why has 'service due' come back?

So BMW serviced my car Nov last year and of course cleared the service due reminder.

Now all I've done is 1) flash stage 0 with MHD and disabled cold start 2) replace the cars battery.

Now now it says service due since Nov last year on the dash.

Any ideas? Can I solve it myself using MHD/I drive or have to take it to BMW?

It was MOT inspection that hadn't been reset. It was nothing to do with BMW service. Guys who fitted my tyres today cleared it for me
