Not the first time they've misrepresented the sound of their feature car and I just don't understand the folks that sign this stuff off and expect petrolheads not to figure it out.

In MI:5 Rogue Nation, the real laughing stock was the F80 M3 that famously featured an S65 under the hood, or so the sound would suggest

And Wheelman, a 2017 Netflix Original, had an E46 3 Series with S85 V10 noises (starts at 3:25)

But of course, the New Year's clip of the M2 is particularly atrocious as it adds insult to injury by using an Audi/Lamborghini unit.

^ wow that vid is shockingly accurate... the lack of G80 reviews and enthusiast based feedback, the marketing fails and the I division taking over is truly telling... this will be an electric car brand in a few years

...but it's one thing to disenfranchise the core BMW owner, the i owner, the X car owner... but to turn M into a lifestyle brand with Yolo type influencers and make mistakes like Lamborghini V10s over the M2 is truly another level... they either don't care, think we are dumb or just about everyone left there knows nothing about cars.

There's definitely a disconnect between BMW and their customers these days. Kinda reminds me of Congress and the American people. God complexes by both parties. On another note, has this guy been banned for bringing up the ragging issue on the new grilles?

Reminds me of the M2 launch video,where some people claimed that the M2 sound was either enhanced or dubbed with the sound of the S65 engine.It probably was.This Instagram video is definitely dubbed.

It may or may not be N55 sounds but it's definitely edited/enhanced and that seems dishonest to me from a consumer standpoint.
