Front Thrust Arm Connection, Chassis and Ball Joint.
-Tension strut to chassis is 100nm/74ft-lbs +90deg (only do the +90deg if using a new bolt)
-Tension strut to knuckle is 175Nm/129ft-lbs

I made this suspension torque chart for release with my "F8x Springs and Shocks Swap" video coming out later this week. Great to print and tape to the garage wall!

Thanks. Had to Google that 90 deg, as I had never heard that before. But I used OEM Nut, so not needed. Great info.

I wish BMW would stop using different names for some of their suspension parts. Thrust Arm is also called Wishbone, which many call Tension Rod. There are 2 arms coming from Frame to Knuckle. Tension Rod, coming from Frame to rear of knuckle, and Thrust Arm coming from forward Frame to forward Knuckle.

I have a question, looking at the pictures, how do you install this? press one side in then i'm guessing you screw in the other side with bigger plate that seals on top of the control arm? did Samuel or millway provide any instructions? like torque amount etc? thanks

Hey Chief,

I have the Monoballs installed.

https://www.bimmerworld.com/ssearch....00.31.680.0001

They helped with turn in especially with proper Neg Camber up front.

I haven't had enough time in the car before and after install to comment on Trail braking changes. ZERO change in NVH, etc. If you track your M2 I think its a worth it mod

Just installed mine, and there is no increase in NVH. Notice slight increase in tightness on streets and highway. I am sure it will be much more apparent on the Track, which is why I bought them. A definite worthwhile upgrade to suspension if you do any Tracking.

Gerald, its a win win mod....No NVH on the street at all. Car isn't darty, etc...

The harder you drive your car the more you will appreciate them...
