M2 CS delivery - Canada (BSM - M-DCT - 2NH - BLK 763M - PSS)

Finally here! Got delivered to the house by the dealership today!

Unfortunately the only driving was onto the driveway and into the garage for a long winter nap. Man in person it has presence. Looks pretty mean. Roof weave looks fine from what I could see.

Anyway, snapped a few pics.

Super Sports. Plus a little extra added surprise with the driver’s side front. Delivery guy noticed it as he was easing it off the flatbed 🤬

What a piss off eh? Spoke to my SA about the tire. He wasn’t happy. Obviously happened either at the dealership or during transport. Sounds like they’re going to do something about it. Repair or replace I don’t know, but it’s a huge mother of a screw.

They can afford to cut you a check for a new tire. That's what I would do if I was the store

There's no repairing or patching when the screw is that close to the shoulder. New tire or nothing.

I would have sworn black is not the right color for the CS as it reduces the two tone effect of all the carbon.

I was wrong though. There is no denying the car looks absolutely wicked in black. You just want to stare at it. Picking up all the more subtle carbon bits only adds to the attraction.

Well done!

Such a horrible sight!! On delivery!!!

Not nearly as bad, I saw the same thing with our 1M a couple of months after delivery. We heard the sounds and hearts sank - fortunately there wasn't a deep impact, but we decided best to replace.

Two months after those beeps started again and I pulled over to check to find another nail - a full expansion bolt had smacked its way in.

I feel the pain! Enjoy the car...it's so good!!!!!

Thanks! I will admit I wasn’t sure I made the right choice. I love black cars but I was torn. Flip-flopped a dozen times between BSM and MB and even HS. When I finally saw it in person though, all doubts vanished. My opinion, but it’s stunning in black. To each his own of course and I think it’s fair to say they are beautiful cars in person regardless of colour. And yes, even in black you do appreciate the contrast of the carbon.

My SA was not pleased when I reported it too him. Said (obviously) the car should have been completely checked over before being delivered. I guess the question is who’s responsible? Did it happen at the dealership or being loaded on the flatbed? Regardless, it happened before it was in my possession. We’ll see what happens.

Congrats. IMHO that's the best M2 CS spec.

Sorry to hear that you have a 'Pilot Super Screw' tire. Ask for a new tire - this car has a top speed of 280 km/h (174 mph). Safety first.

If they say that they can fix it, tell them that you want a new tire (pristine condition, legitimate expectation for taking delivery of a brand new top-of-the-range car) and that they can offer the fixed tire to someone else. A PSS front tire ain't expensive.

wow!! Honestly, BSM is such a great color on the F8x platform. Theres just such a lure to a menacing black Bimmer that no matter how much you try to convince yourself - black gets dirty so easily - you can't help but look with envy at.

Enjoy the M2CS!!! Looks amazing!!!

I am having similar doubts that Black won't work on this car and am happy that the 2 of you think differently. I also was lusting for MB....need to make a decision.

It never lost air. Actually, the dealership is sending a flatbed tomorrow to pick it up and replace the tire. Took them almost a month, but they’re stepping up and taking care of it.
