So yes, all exhaust audio is faked. Interior and exterior. The exhaust tips are only decorations.

Makes me laugh people that comment on the seats/ mirrors/ non carbon roof. But they don't comment on all the good aspects of this car that blows the competition out the water by far.

I remember driving the new M4 and it sounded great and then I rolled down the window and it cut the sound by 50% and actually sounded wimpy compared to windows up.

I do not agree that it is quieter with the windows down.

Like what? No one has driven one so no one knows if it blows anything out of the water. All one can comment on are images on the internet and paper specs.

The seats in the GLA 45 AMG ARE SO SO GOOD! The Golf R are only ok, just drove it, and your right about the M2 there are views or angles that just aren't right and this could be seen a while back I was hopping they BMW would realize this and fix the car, but there pride got in the way. So to you BMW your money is going to a different Manufacturer

I love seeing the posts with new pictures or video of the M2. This car really gets me excited! There hasn't been a new car that truly got me this excited since the 1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R/Chrysler Conquest TSi or the E36 M3. Regardless of some of the opinions about the lack of the carbon fiber roof, the true M seats or M mirrors, I am thrilled that BMW is bringing this car to production. I really like the M235i, but am just not impressed with the plain body work. The M2 takes it to the next level with the spiced up body, more power, etc. Assuming I get one, this will be my first new BMW. I hope it happens!

Those M4 seats are a bargain at just 15k when they come in an M4 compared to an M2 and . only 12k when you get an M3.

I would bet folks can find some seats in the aftermarket for less if they don't want to supersize their M2

Wow people still bitchin. It's a limited production car. So BMW could do whatever they want with the marketing because the demand is more than what they are manufacturing.

In other words your complaining means nothing. All you're doing is having a bad time here complaining about how they are doing things, mean while BMW will sell every single car, and the buyers that actually get this car will most likely be very happy with the product.

Just sayin.

I'll defer to your experience as I don't own a newer audio-assisted car. It just seemed to me that when I rolled the windows down the sound-track changed and it shocked me how much....

Guess I need to spend more time behind the wheel of a newer M3 or M4.
