New plate fitted front.
For anyone interested in the uk (520x80mm from fancyplates)
I’ve gone for this size so I can cover up the screw holes that BMW in there mighty wisdom put there.
And the obligatory fuel station pictures.

Nice.

I asked BMW not to drill my bumper before my m2c got delivered new as i have a 5 digit reg and was going to get a vinyl plate.

..but they driiled on the standard plate holder anyway

At least ya'll across the pond get plates that fit the bumper. Here in the states the plates look completely out of place.

Fortunately I live in a state that doesn't require front plates.

You should've put that into the order contract, so if they breached it you can either get a new bumper or they owe you the cost of a new bumper back. That's what I always do when I factory order a new car - along with a mileage stipulation where if the car is above a certain mileage I either get my money back and can walk away or they have to refund me a certain amount. This way no one drives my car and it stays on the lot.

+1

NA plates are a really weird fat rectangle that really doesn't fit anywhere on the front theyre super ugly too.

Same here no front plates for me.

The standard uk plate doesn’t fit that well.
It overhangs and where the bumper is curved it’s looks abit meh.

Hence why I went for a ‘not illegal’ sized one.

They look so much better without a front plate. But I’ve always run one, if you don’t it’s an Instant reason to be pulled over and them to start looking over other bits
