I was considering a GT4 or the G87 M2. The GT4 prices during the pandemic started to go through the roof once Porsche started to drastically limit the production for all GT cars. I had a hard time justifying the $125k price tag.

The G87 had a 14 month wait time for an allocation at my local dealership and then there was an even longer wait time if you wanted the carbon bucket seats.

Last summer I was at the BMW CCA tent at the IMSA race at Limerock and one of the other members had a beautiful F87 for sale with an Eventuri intake, Dinan exhaust, carbon fiber lip, diffuser etc. A few weeks later I brought it home. I honestly couldn't be any happier with the F87. I've owned 7 BMWs over the years and this is by far my favorite.
