Here are some photos for your comments

The paint finish is unbelievable for a closed-door respray. Found a couple of stone chips but that's it.

Ceramic coating and a set of wheels should do the job perfectly

Enjoy

(more photos to come)

Edit 1: Done photos are rotated for dinner reason

Edit 2: the car next to it under car cover is a Batmobile - it will never ever ever ever be sold, he told me
Looks great. The main problem with M10 is the cooling system rather than motor. Mine always gave me the fear factor despite repeated repairs. My brother's e21 left him stranded for the same reason. So make sure you get that checked out. Rust isn't ever really a problem in Australia unless it is was a beachside car. That only applies to very old cars.

In other news I have seen this. Possibly the most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on.

https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/det...SSE-AD-7322894

The temptation is immense. I need to build more undercover car parking first though.

Honestly between this, the DB5 and the first e-type there is a fight for the most beautiful car ever made in the history of cars.

You cruel cruel man, I totally love that car -

Hands down, neither the DB5, nor the Jag come even close to the elegance and joy that this car presents

we'll just have to fight for it

The BMW M10 Engine Cooling problems can be solved by fitting an after-market larger capacity radiator (double or triple row ) .

BMW later acknowledged that the factory fitted radiator was inadequate for “hot climate” zones .

Cheers

My e30 (leaded) M10 seemed to be fine. Maybe they fixed it in that update?

Ha! It's incredible. Wouldn't it be nice to have the first CS next to the M2CS.

Sorry gentlemen but the Jag D type is undoubtedly the most beautiful car, ever. But I agree that the E type and DB5 are epic cars

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:P...1955_-_106.jpg

I just hope the M2 becomes a classic too.

Edit: but that is an epic classic BMW

The combination of having a few drinks and browsing the Carsales.com app is going to be my undoing. I have to stay away from that app. Sounds like you are in the same boat.

Ha! I'm not going near that CSi. I got a concerning vibe when I enquired. Plus he put it up $30k the next day. Now back down $10k. It's a UK car.

As you are my vintage you may recognise my mental picture of the seller.

Maybe I should put mine up for $225k with CCB

On a serious note, there are 8 up for sale which is an astonishing 10% of all vehicles delivered to Australia

I wonder how many would still remain a one-owner specimen in five or ten years

I’m still amazed that so many (10%) of the Cs people buy and sell so quickly !

For me it’s really quite bizarre but one man’s loss is another man’s gain I suppose .

Oddly enough, in a few short years, $178k will have been a bargain

How's your RR hunt going mate?

Maybe the M5CS is the better 'investment' compared to an M2 CS ...
