Does AA single midpipe with a/b resonators still require cutting?

I was curious If anyone has the setup with stock exhaust?

I'm trying to avoid permanently modifying.

Thank you in advance

Yes, the stock exhaust is welded all the way back from where it bolts to the cats.
Only way to avoid cutting is to replace the mid pipe and the axle back at the same time.

Edit: For this reason I regret not doing it all at once. I hoped the mid pipe would be enough. It gave a nice deep tone but, not much additional volume. FWIW, you can go back to stock using band clamps from Autozone leaving the AA clamps with the pipe.

Gotcha, is there any noticeable change in power or throttle response?

Active Autowerke posted a dyno showing a 15 HP increase with their single midpipe

I only drive in Sport+ so, throttle response has always been crazy.
I can't say I notice a change in power but, it is a lot more fun driving in Sport+.
I set it back to Eco when I come into my neighborhood now.

Big thanks to mike@x-ph.com, btw.
