Driver mirror tilt
I often park with a curb on the left (driver side). Being that I'd prefer not to trash my wheels, does anyone know if it's possible to have the driver side mirror tilt like the passenger side does when in reverse?

Natively not that I'm aware of but u always could fit a universal module. Had one of these in the 350z and worked surprisingly well.

Not sure what their product is or does but they shut down 5/31/19 according to the website. I have BimmerCode already, just not sure how to activate that feature on the "driver's" side (British / Japanese passenger side 😉. |

Didn't know they shut down but used to sell an aftermarket mirror tilt module. Looking into it further it wouldn't have worked anyway due to how the mirrors are wired.
If you search you will see that no one has found a way to successfully code it so that the drivers side mirror tilts instead of passenger that I have found. If it could be done it would just swap the logic from passenger to driver and not enable both mirrors. From what I see is the mirrors are electronically the same and controlled by the FEM via the LIN bus. If you find something post it cause there would be a few interested owners.
