Performance Center Delivery for M2 Ending?

I'm asking my local dealer about ordering a new M2 for Performance Center Delivery. Apparently the Performance Center is telling the dealership that PCD is for cars made in the US or Mexico and not for anything made in Germany. The dealer is asking to make an exception for me. Has anyone heard anything about this? It must be new as plenty of people have done PCD for their M2.

As someone that considered this for my car's re-delivery from ED, and discussed the possibility with the dealer during the ordering process, this is either new, or your dealer doesn't know what they're talking about...

I'm going with dealer doesn't know what they are talking about. I took delivery of my M2 in October and asked if I wanted PCD. I declined because I wanted my car & have done it plenty of times before.

I hope that is not the case and PCD will continue with Europe made cars. So many great options from the 3/4 series and Z4 to be had driving the tail of the dragon

This is just simply not true. Especially considering that one of the guys in my office is taking PCD re-delivery for his M4 that he did ED with next week..... I suspect your dealer doesn't know how to do this and doesn't want to deal with the hassle. Your salesperson could also just be trying to push you to buy one off the lot. Call a different dealer or speak to the sales manager.

To update, everything is good now. My CA hadn't done a PCD before and it took him a while to get it all figured out. I ordered the car today (with PCD of course), so now the waiting begins! Thank you to everyone who provided feedback!
