Hi I’m after people’s advice on mixing carbon fiber n gloss black
I currently have m2 comp f87 n have the front carbon splitter, carbon side vents, and carbon rear diffuser, and carbon side winglets
But I don’t really like the side winglets, I prefer the long skirts along the sides
And carbon factory have gloss black ones on offer atm for £80, carbon ones are like £350 which isn’t a option

So do people thinking mixing looks ok
As the person from carbon factory says many people mix but I’m not sure n he’s just after a sale,
I’m unsure if it’ll work so after people’s opinions please

It’s all down to personal preference.

My opinion- no It would look cheap as you already have carbon fibre and you didn’t want to pay the premium that carbon fibre is. If you have gloss black splitter already I’d say no problem. Mixing is a no from me.
But I’m sure other people may differ.

Yeh I think I’m of the same opinion
It’s not that I can’t go for the carbon, but it’s just a lot of money for couple strips down the sides plus I got mot in 6 weeks
Was hoping for more comments for opinions but find this particular forum quiet n not a lot of opinions ever

Maybe if you posted in the ‘cosmetic thread’ there might be a few more opinions.

This isn’t a massively active forum but is very useful to find out information.

Your post in the UK subsection shows up in the list of “New Posts” in the BIMMERPOST iOS app for me here in the USA. Nothing wrong with that, though!
