F87 M2 Competition Remus Racing Exhaust - Owner’s Review
We recently fitted a Remus Racing OPF -back exhaust system to our 2020 BMW F87 M2 Competition. Like many late-model S55 owners in Europe, we wanted to retain the vehicle’s OPF to keep the car fully street-legal here in the UK & compliant with emissions regulations. However, we still wanted a noticeable noise increase and improved flow for tuning purposes.
Check out the exhaust here: https://bit.ly/RemusBMWF87M2 Watch now: What do we think of the sound? One of the best features of the Remus racing system is the fact you get to keep the OEM valve functionality. This means you can enjoy the deep tone & loud volume of the Remus while still being able to quiet it down in comfort mode. We estimate the volume to be about 10-20% louder with the valves closed so the system is very easy to live with. There is no drone on the highway which is also a bonus! How easy is the system to fit? Well, if you take your car to an experienced shop, you don’t have to do anything & installation is very easy. If you intend to fit the system yourself, it’s important to note that the factory exhaust system will require cutting just after the OPF. Handily, Remus supplies a detailed install guide to help you install it yourself. Simply scan the QR code in the box! How is the quality? Remus is renowned for the quality of their exhaust systems. They have even manufactured some OEM BMW exhaust systems over the years which shows you how much their quality is trusted. In our experience, the welding, fitment & finishing is always 10/10. This specific system was no different. We always try to keep this system in stock as it is a customer favorite. If you’re after one for yourself, either order via our website or hit up our sales team: sales@r44performance.co.uk. |

Great review, thank you very much. I just bought a 2021 M2C with this already installed. Great exhaust and it does work well with the stock valve system.
