Engine oil change on my back underneath the car.
This environment has kept me skinny.

With a headrest mount like that, you really want to mount it to the OCCUPIED seat. If you put it on a seat without a passenger, the backrest bounces around a lot and will affect the video footage.

I understand you! I've it mounted in the other side atm (passenger) but i might swap it to my side. I will give it a try to both ways.

So after some reading and advice i moved the headrest to my side.

Happy with end result despite the upside down bar

Updated tune! Check out the details: https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...&postcount=344

Also had a guy yell at me, “Hey man, that’s the original M2 with the N55, right? Love it!! Let’s hear a rev! Oh yeah, sounds amazing!!!”

The word is getting out, the OG is the future classic M2 to have!

And yes it is true. During my recent celebration of my half century of life, my eternal friends gave me a spectacular surprise. Nothing more or less than a gift that will leave your mouth open and that will be part of me and OG forever!

Ladies and gentlemen, here it is.

AK Motion NextGen data display | Here are some photos of the material. Next weekend it will be installed on M2

What's inside the box!

The display!

The in between.

Can't wait to see it up and running! Stay tuned

Went in for service today. Got a brake fluid flush, a new battery, and a new left taillight. Hopefully my left turn signal faults will be in the past. The taillight and battery do have a three year warranty.

Bought one on Friday and drove it 800 miles home. 2018 M2 DCT in Mineral Grey, Executive Package, and bone stock. Time to yank some parts off of my beloved 2016 M235 6MT and transfer to the M2.

Recent mods and my reviews of them:

JQ Shifter Paddles: Kinda cool also don't actively consider them better than stock. Could take it or leave it

Dinan Exhaust added to my sport cat: Well worth the money, great sound coupled with the sport cat.

Technic pnp Asd delete: Not a huge difference from stock not sure why people think this is a life changer. Scratching my head with this one.

That's my exhaust setup as well, sport cat, Dinan resonator delete, Dinan muffler section. I would highly suggest an exhaust valve controller as well (I have been running the Macht Schnell one for years without issue).

Not sure about the OG M2, but coding ASD out of my M2C made a significant difference especially in sport and sport plus modes.

But, I’m admittedly extremely sensitive to noises and drone and such.
