Just installed Android Screen unit with Carplay
It's bigger than the stock original screen and it's brighter. It runs Android 12 and you can launch other apps as well as connect to the internet if you put in a sim card.
Of course it has Apple carplay and Android Auto. Best of all it has touchscreen where the OG M2s don't have it. You can also watch Youtube, play videos or music files off USB drive. I think overall it is better than coding the Carplay since it doesn't interfere with stock ECU. So you won't lose it even if the dealership upgrades your ECU. Is this really the only solution if you use an Androis phone? Disappointing in an M Car its Apple play only |
