ETK pictures show same pictures for US and EU midpipe (maybe to simplify the the representation), but with different codes of course. So if i'm not wrong, US cars have 2 additional kats and the EU ones the 2 OPF filters instead of these kats, so maybe not so different at all in terms of sound and power.
Fell free to kick me if i'm saying bullshit

They are a lot more restrictive than cats, BMW has stated they are running more boost on EU S55 cars to compensate. Also the gas particulate filter is post seconday cats. The particulate filter is in addition to the primary and secondary cats, so it is incorporated in the same canisters.

Quote:
As it is a brand new model the M2 Competition has to meet the latest EU6D emission regulations that come into force on 1st September. It does so by using a ceramic based, self-cleaning, exhaust gas particulate filter mounted in the exhaust system behind the secondary catalytic convertor.

Clear, so EU cars have the 2nd kat+OPF, and not OPF instead of the 2nd kat as i thought

Probably because he's uploading them from his phone via the mobile app and the Bimmerpost app is resizing the pics.

Doesn't look all that different from M4 center pipe. Bends arounds the diff are different.

Shouldn't take much for ActiveAutowerke to adjust their single center pipe M4 Signature exhaust for the M2 Competition. Maybe adjust some hangers and a few bends.

unless your phone is from the early 2000's or you messed w/ the settings to save on-board storage space, the phone should be taking high-res images. you'll need to upload them to a free photo-hosting service like flickr then share the photo using the BBcode option. Copy that to the clipboard then come back here and copy paste it in your replies.

After the resonator, where it splits off around the differential. It is all one piece, no joints just like the M4 exhaust.

If all we need to do is adapt our m4 front section to our m2 exhuast we should be good to go. Any one in Miami have one yet?

As soon as I get mine I can bring it down. Only about an hour out. Just tell me the cost for the midpipe and I'd love to help out.

are you sure about that? As official BMW ETK says something different.
OPF replacing the secondary cats.

There are people who already took their M2C deliveries in Florida. If you start a new thread I'm sure you can find some volunteers.

If willing to hook me up since the active autowerke sounds amazing maybe I'd pay the $2k and come down this week.
