Here's some numbers I ran the 1/2 mile all weekend with stage 2

Toyo r888r at 22 psi in the rear
NOT a prepped drag strip, it's an airplane runway
I was NOT doing burnouts and I was rolling off the launch for the 1/2 mile (wanted to save my tires for the track)
Also, I was NOT using launch control and shifting @ 7k

Average 1/4 mile times were 11.8 - 12.5
The average trap speed at the 1/4 mile was 126 - 129mph
60 ft time was consistently about 2.5 seconds (strategically, since it's a 1/2 mile not a 1/4 mile run)

Even with a bad 60ft time, you should still be trapping higher than that.

I can't say I'm impressed with those numbers. I ran a 11.9 with my Stage 2 550i. I would expect at least an 11.5 from a Stage 2 with over 500 whp.

The OP's 119mph trap is quite disappointing and likely indicative of a tuning or hardware problem but your 126mph+ traps are higher than should be expected for a traditional 'Stage 2' set-up on pump gas.

Yes sorry I am 580whp on e85 forgot to mention that.

Keep in mind the 1/2 mile launch is very different then the 1/4 and I was not full throttle till 3rd gear. So it's not a fair comparison but it'll help give ya some data I hope.

Just posted this in another thread. So I was spot on. Recently got the BM3 Stage 1 tune. Only other mod is the MPE.

This is the only run I did, and the only time I've every launched my car using launch control.
