This is too sick! I actually just got quoted for a satin dark bronze. I think it'll look pretty good against LBB. The only thing stopping me right now is that I just wrapped my roof black so I figured it may look weird.

Wrapped my roof gloss black. Everyone local quoted me $400-$750 so I decided I'd take a stab at it before I get it done professionally. It turned out to be super easy with a second set of hands. Total cost of the project was $88 (wrap and Amazon tool kit) and a few hours of work. Really love how this car is coming together. Doing all the work on this car with friends makes it even more special.
Also ordered a restore44 front lip to replace my OEM winglets. Got it off another forum member for a great price. Now to source hardware... anyone have a clue what comes with these lips?

1. There are 6 plastic 'push pin' rivets - unless removed these before it might not be immediately obvious that the central head needs gently prised away/out from the surround and then the pin will easily pull out. Use a thin flat head screw driver or edge of a blade working opposite sides of the head. 2. The outer two most locating pins are 8mm bolts with locating brackets behind on the bumper; very easy out/ in. 3. The original plastic diffuser has additional plastic guards around the exhaust (heavier plastic than the diffuse) presumably to prevent heat transfer around the exhaust pipe outlets - the do not get reinstalled with the MP / carbon diffuser. 4. A set of still plastic trim tools to release the clips works a treat; used a few layers of masking tape on the bumper surface (around the location of the clips) so as to not mark the paint when pressing the tool in / the clips popping out. Also, working a few of the release clips at a time seemed to ease the release (rather than one by one). 5. The install of the MP diffuser was very quick, simply pops into place with a little pressure/ short sharp pushes. Easier with two people to align the whole diffuser and working the outer edge in. 6. Some threadlock for the outer two screws is worth it as they are not particularly torqued (or will damage the carbon). Hope this helps |

The instructions are much appreciated. I'm much more confident now hearing more first hand experience that the stock diffuser isn't too hard to get out. Your car looks great too! |

Put in the eton front speakers after having to order a second set after I bought some broken ones from a forum member
I was so impressed with the sound quality that I went and ordered the rear shelf JL speakers too.

Nice job! I've consider this but I can't make up my mind about changing out the kidney grille from chrome to black...I'm usually pretty decisive but I keep going back and forth on it.
Maybe if I did the roof, the kidney grille issue would work itself out lol

Busy few weeks for new car additions...picked up some genuine bmw angle cut exhaust tips from eBay dirt cheap. Installed this evening took a few pics. Undecided if to keep the chrome or paint them.
