mitigated some slightly saggy exhaust tips by replacing the factory rubber hanger bushings with some polyurethane ones. Pulled things up about 1/2", which is exactly what was needed

Could you provide some pics of what you did. I can see the result, but not clear to me how you achieved the outcome. Thank you ///AVM |

M4 gloss black slant cut tips. I removed the stock tips and cut off ~1.5" each pipe so they didn't stick out so far (2x) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016AX887C |

I have just one side hanging a tad lower than the other so I bought a few that have multiple height options to play with: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

Nice fix for the saggy exhaust! I've been meaning to do this since I installed Cyba tips. With aftermarket tips installed, the sag seems to be more noticeable.

That's not very reassuring, lol. I ordered one of the polyurethane ones you got as well just to be safe. Thanks for the info.

the stock rubber pieces have a slightly smaller diameter hole, so take some work to remove (use a lubricant) if you don't have an exhaust hanger tool. If you have the tool, it's a 2 minute job even with the car on the ground (though ramps make it a lot easier, I was just lazy)

Honestly, this is a new topic to me, so forgive my questions. . . so, this 'tool' you reference, is it a couple bucks at AutoZone? Do you have to remove any bolts/screws, or do the stock part and new part just pop in and out? Thanks for taking the time to spell it out for me. ///AVM |

There are two posts on each side, one attached to the body, one to the muffler, and they are connected by a rubber bushing. The tool presses the bushing off the post using the post as leverage. The new bushing just presses on with minimal effort. I found it easiest to remove from the body first, and install on the muffler first. |

I believe that I may have found a mount that will work. The one pictured on the right is the one that we normally offer for the F87 chassis - part number EXH032. The one pictured on the left is part number EXH001. The holes for the lugs appear to be almost, if not exactly, the same diameter. They are just closer together, which would raise the exhaust! I am still not certain that it would fit, seeing as how it is a completely different shape, but this was the best example that I could find! |
