A bee already smashed against the new FMIC on the way home.

Charge pipe was going to go in too but apparently.... part of the pipe wasn't shipped in the box, so I guess to be continued....
Not that this should be news to anyone but on the stock IC starting at an IAT of like 103 when doing a pull from 3rd gear ending at 6k rpm in 4th gear the IAT were like 132+

Now with the Wagner the IAT starting at 95 (ambient 77) just drop as I accelerate. Don't have any really great logs yet but just watching IAT when doing some quick 60-80 pulls on the highway this thing never gets hot. For street driving, at least in moderately warm non humid weather, IATs won't ever be a problem again.

Eager to see how it holds up to more aggressive back roads driving when the car is pushed harder for longer periods of time. I suspect it's going to be great. Probably only falls on its face at the track in hot weather, which isn't my concern.

Are you seeing a lot of issues with oil blowback? How many miles? If not, what was the concern to make you add a catch can

Oil blowback isn't supposed to be a problem with this engine.

I heard that the issue is sort-of improved, but not completely gone. Hence, installed it for the peace of mind. I plan to keep the car long term.

Nice! Are you tuned or still stock? I like that the Wagner comp is lighter than others but for me being stock, I don't want added lag. Thinking Wagner comp 1 would be ideal in my situation.

I'm on the bm3 ACN stage 1 tune.

I'm not sure how much lag is introduced with Evo 1 vs Evo 2. After I bought it I was worried but now I'm not. If I had to do it over again though I might have gone with the Evo 1 because responsiveness is important to me.

The Evo 2 is barely more money than the Evo 1 though.

I don't notice any additional lag in normal driving. I think I notice a bit more delay in 3rd gear when I go full throttle. I'm going to keep it.

In theory a charge pipe would increase throttle response a bit.

Wash and wax. I'm sure it'll look dirty again in 5 min but when it's clean I think BSM is the best color out there.

I want the phone clearly visible and close to the steering wheel so I can click on it for Waze and stuff. (I have an OG with no Android Auto)

So I have a phone holder that reaches all the way but it wobbles around a lot. But not anymore Stable as *** now compared to before. I 3D printed a reinforcing ugly stand that I made

Really interesting CAI... so it seals to the underside of the hood?

Also, how'd the turner intercooler install go? Notice any improvement?

I kind of forgot about “traction” mode, so I spent the commute today giggling at all the overrun sounds coming out of my car.

I really wish this was possible with sport plus.
