Disconnect negative battery terminal in the trunk first, just to be safe. All the DIY's I found said to do this. Then use a screwdriver on the sides of the steering wheel to pop out the airbag, one side at a time (not actually unscrewing anything here). Once airbag is off, the trim is held in by 2 torx 20 bolts behind where the airbag was inside the steering wheel, and the one in the back of the steering wheel you mentioned, also T20. Then just pulls off with a tad of force. |

Very excited. Forgeline's are in with 265/35 and 285/35r19 RE11's for more dry grip vs the pss. Good pics coming as soon as I can.
Brand new design they are calling the GTD1 open 5 lug. He Finish is beautiful too but hard to see in the pics. Brushed with a light tinted gloss clear. |

Gave my M2 a Powerlock treatment today. Off topic but also took my E90 in and had A Bilstein/Eibach kit installed along with Dinan camber plates and some fresh MPSS.

ER charge pipe, ER turbo to intercooler pipe, and Active Autowerke Intercooler installed.
I can't believe how small the stock intercooler is compared to the AA unit. |

Bought some cheap decals for the grille on amazon, seemed fun. Put on the white just a test to see how they fit and stick. Was going to go the standard blue, blue, red but decided to keep the white on for now because I thought it looked interesting. Shrug.

Front tires are 265/35 RE-11's. Rears are 285/35. The rears need a little camber added since the tires are so tall and fat on a 10. So around 2 degrees is perfect. Stock camber on the front until my plates and SLP arms come in. This car has a lot more room in the front than people think. If it weren't for strut clearance I would had went 10 square but I didn't have camber plates yet. |
