Window problem (?)

Hi,
So I've looked for so much time on the forum and web but couldn't find anything.
For some reason my driver and passenger windows don't roll down a bit when you open the door and the main problem is when you're closing it! (A "solution" for now is to push the window in then close the door)
Furthermore, the automatic windows work when rolling the windows down but not up for some reason (both problems happened in the same time).
It has happened to me before but it just passed but now it's not and that's why I'm here.
I'll add a link to a YouTube video once it's uploaded of the first problem.
Thanks in advance for all the helpers!

Still under warranty? Take it in to a dealer.

I couldn't find the BMW TIS that describes this, but have you tried this:

Unfortunately my car isn't under warranty (expired), but for some reason both problems have passed (just like the last (and only other) time it happened to me not long ago). However I did contact my mechanic friend not long ago and he told me that if the voltage goes below 9 it would happen (in BMWs) in order to preserve power to start the car, so after I checked in the menu it's time to change the battery (the car is 3.5 years old) as the voltage was low for no reason and I've tried to charging it.
Just weird that there isn't any notification about it but thanks for the help, and hope this post will help others if it happens to them

I've had this problem a few times when working on the car and have disconnected the battery. The solution seems to be running the window all the way down and all the way a few times.

What is the effect of disconnecting the battery on all the other memory settings (eg. Radio, seat settings etc...)? Are they lost?

I have to reset the time manually (ConnectDrive may do this for some). As for the radio itself, I don't listen to it very often so I don't have any stations program but you loose the button programming for other options so I'd guess you'd loose any stations assigned to the buttons as well.

I think the seat memory is retained. I have the seat coded to move all the way back when I open the door and that gets confused but running the seat all the way back and all the way forward (while standing outside), pretty much like the windows, seems to reset that function and the seat returns to where I want it when I push the start button without further adjustment.

My windows work but are very slow to respond to pulling door handle. My 10 yr old be Scirocco was way faster in this regard. Another area BMW are behind the 'lesser' marques again!

That's a performance measure a lot of people fail to consider lol. My windows drops faster than I can open the door so that's the critical factor for me.
