Coby Alcantara Steering wheel
Hi All, I am looking to replace my steering wheel for my 2017 M2. I found a company called Coby who sells alcantara steering wheels for BMWs.
They come in two colors: Grey or Black. They describe the grey as charcoal grey. Does anyone on here know which would match the oem M2 shift boot and door panels? I asked the rep and he told me that it was on me to figure out which color matched. Was wondering if anyone on here has their product and knows which color matches? |

That said, I just had my stock *heated* wheel covered by Colby in the grey 9002 alcantara, tri-color stitching, no center stripe for half the cost. I plan to install this wheel and sell my barely used M2 CS wheel because I want to maintain the heated functionality. (Although I do agree that heat is not as important with alcantara wheels -- I used an unheated alcantara wheel in my previous BMW the last 8 years). |

Mike is a cool dude. You'll love his work.
Not to threadjack but does anyone know where I could get my mperf v2 alcantara changed to perforated leather? Coby can't do it

The M2 CS wheel is pretty thick (some love it some hate it), so I suspect this wheel will be the same or marginally smaller. I plan to measure. |

It's interesting that you mention faint lines under the alcantara of your Coby the from the stock leather seams at 10 and 2 because my Coby wheel has the seams at 10 and 2 so there is nothing to "show through". Perhaps because I don't have a center stripe, but note, the M2 CS wheel also has seams at 10 and 2. Here's my wheel: https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...4&postcount=45 |
