Anyone interested in a BMW M2 Nurburgring Meeting?

Anyone here interested in a BMW M2 Nurburgring Meeting?

I will be staying at the Ring from the 22nd to the 28th of August with the M2 and a whole series of other cars. I am not aware if there is anyone interested or in the neighborhood around those days, but if you are maybe it would be nice to see if we can set up a meeting or at least meetup.

In the weekend of the 27th and 28th there are a number of events at the Ring, one of which is a Sport 1 track day on the Sunday and another one is a drive on Saturday with a group of cars coming from Belgium and the Netherlands. This drive is supported by the guys from Streetgasm.

http://www.nuerburgring.de/en/events...-trackday.html

Anyone up for it? Just drop your comment below and let's see where we can meet.

I'm up for it. But the show and shine doesn't appeal. How much track time is available during those days?

I'm off to brands on 17th just to get a feel pre-ring

I do not have a clear sight on what the event will be, but if another time would work let me know. In the end I am more than 1.5 weeks at the Ring. Time enough to set something up, although the event of the 27/28 works the best.

When I know more about the event, I will drop it here!

I would be keen but alas am on the other side of the globe. Too far to transport the car. I have thought about checking out the BMW instructed Nring days. Does anyone know about these - cost and whether they are worth it and better than renting a car for a trackday? Sounds like a few track enthusiasts here with plenty of Nring experience.

I've never stayed at the ring garage but heard nothing but good words.

I remember my first trip and I always advise it for first timers. You can't beat the Dorint, it's a little more expensive, but make sure you get yourself a track side room as you'll have your own balcony overlooking the GP track and part of the nordschleife. Amazing to wake up to the sound of cars/bikes at full pelt down the start/finish straight.

Go for it and as they have recently revamped most of the rooms (ask for one) you'll love it

All the information about the Sport 1 track day:

http://www.nuerburgring-shop.de/spor..._from_store=de

It would be cool to have a line up of three M2's there

This is just a drag race on the gp track? let me check the opening times for the nordschleife. But doable.

I was thinking Caldwell but work wasn't allowing hence why I settled on brands for an evening session. I think you know maya, she might be bringing the spider
