"Agree" - I didn't see M2 real life yet, but.. did anyone of you guys saw the live reveal / stream from NA back on October 13th?? It looked like A BEAST.. all I can say - I wouldn't judge before seeing it live.

Back then, when I was looking for my first good ride, I found the 1er Coupé. To be honest, I wasn't too excited about the looks on the pictures. But I decided, luckely, to check the 135i out and test drive it. Man.. just when I arrived at the Dealer, I saw her standing there.. I was in love

I think the same will be for the M2 - btw.. I yet prefer the front of the M235i (incl. Frontlip) compared to the M2

Agree with you that the diffuser on the M2 helps on the lower end ... The bumper ugh... And to me the taillights are just misplaced on all 2 series and the decklid cutting into them is just .. Ick
I'll take the great ass please

It was faster than the E92 M3. What were you expecting... faster than an M4?

E92 M3 - 8:05
M2 - 7:58
M4 - 7:52

Seems to fit in just about where it should IMO.
One thing to remember is that E92 came with PS2s while the M2 has PSS, an E92 on PSS would close the gap a considerably, which makes me think that if one want a trackable daily in the price range of the M2, a slightly used ZCP E92 could be a better choice IMO. S65>N55

I am just interested in a M235i vs M2 road & track review. I would find it hard to believe that the M2 will be worth the extra money. The M235 would be better with a diff but the e-diff is really rather brilliant.

Maybe, but for a daily driver you have to take into consideration that the E92 M3 gets 11 mpg in the city (that's what my friend that has one said). I average 21 in the city in my M235i. The M2 will be similar.

True, the S65 likes to drink, on the other hand, a used E92 can cost a lot less than a new M2 while being equally fast, better looking and more special(IMHO ). It should also keep it's value very well since it's the last N/A M3. Not that the M2 is'nt a great car but I'm disappointed by the interior(specially the seats) and the choice of engine(not any faster or special than what was in the 1M).

In the end it all comes down do personnal preferences, new vs used, N/A V8 vs 6cyl turbo, ect... But I have yet to find a better looking BMW than a nicely done E92 and it's also the second greatest sounding M car right after the E60 M5 and its glorious V10!
