Huh...here I was drooling over it at the release...in these pics I don't like it at all. Way way to overdone and disproportionate :

It's also jacked way up!

If I'm honest (and not biased), most M235's look better than this in my opinion. But that's just me. Glad I got the former. Much rather spend the difference in cost on mods. 235i is the sweet spot for sure.

The interior looked good, especially the CF and the blue stitching. It was hard to see inside because it was a bright day and there was a lot of reflection. Wish i had gotten a pic of the seats!
Thanks for taking the photos and what you did was about as well as one could do without having an SLR handy. Taking photos through glass is not easy due to focus issues and even worse with a glare.

Just like no one can tell it's a BMW without the emblem.

Man, what is the hang up with the mirrors??????? The M3 and M4 mirrors are not M mirrors. They are M3 and M4 mirrors, only. Why should this car get them???

It pleases me that BMW omitted aforementioned mirrors and saved the consumer in the final price.

To my eyes, the M235i is a better looking car than the M2. I love the flares of the M2, but everything else on the M235i looks better to me. I know the M2 is more car, I'm not saying the M235i is better than an M2. It's not. But to me, it is better looking, especially the front end.
Curious...do you know how much all of those add-ons cost for that M235i? The pic you posted is definitely nice-looking.

I could not disagree more. M2 looks far more aggressive while the M235i manages to blend into the see of cars.

Still love both cars.

(Not my instagram):

sexy as hell.

NO. the M235 looks soft and lumpy.....the M2 doesn't.

more than any of that the M2 is a true sports car....the M235i is not at all.

I saw this car with jersey tags on Baltimore beltway on Friday. I tried to snap a picture but he was gone before I could grab my phone.

Yea, I really want to love this car but its so not M in many ways and the look just doesnt feel right in some angles

To me, the M division just added the same old M shit to the m235i but then they water it down (fake side vents, no M mirrors, no CF roof). It looks cheap! But for just $6k more than a m235i I'll def go for the M2

Spoken like a true m235 owner..
No shame in that game ! Enjoy your purchase!

Actually .. Each car is a sweet spot. A 228 with track handling package would leave a ton of room for mods over your m235...

And so it goes ....

We all have our own preferences , predilections and different budget/value set, which is why BMW MAKES SO MANY DIFFERENT MODELS.

A lot of " old school " bimmer Fans literally yearn for the days of 3 M models... M3, M5 and M6 ... As if times were somehow better when there were fewer choices....

Is it the same carbon fiber crap from the E9x interior?

Great job you got some great shots. I must say and I've said it before with the M3/4 press photos, the photos captured by everyday people look so much better then the press release photos. I must see this car in person.

This front shot makes me reevaluate the front bumper and start liking it!

Really nice find! We have a 235 vert that we did an ED delivery on last week (and it's now on the water), but I have to say if they were making an M2 vert we would be interested.
