I mounted the spoiler in multiple locations, using masking tape, c-clamps, and dial calipers to get consistent fitment. Ultimately Mode Carbon sent me a brand new unit and it fit perfectly, I made another thread about the fitment on that one which was perfect. As for location, I referenced MC's own site photos and any further back would have spoiler tape exposed (and spoiler hanging off the back) and any further forward would expose rear decklid behind the spoiler.
