I just talked with Chris about another car, but he said they were just waiting for a test car to be available - software was completed a month ago. The one that they had set up was a no show. If anyone wants a free controller, they are looking for a Dyno car, & I assume you just need to call them.

So I dropped off my 2021 M2C at Carbahn this morning. Steve and Chris will be installing the piggybank tune they have developed that should be for sale soon. I will keep you all posted.

Do they have the latest ISTA to test if the new piggyback detection routine picks it up?

Just to confirm I'm understanding correctly, so long as my M2C has a build date prior to 6/2020, I should have the unlockable/tunable ECU, correct?
I ran my VIN through a couple of online decoders and both seem to indicate a build date of January, 2020. If my understanding is correct, this means I can use Bootmod3. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just to make sure everyone understands..
You need to either pull the DME and ship it to a vendor , or drop the car at a vendor that can modify/unlock it for you. The vendor can then install whatever tune they have that you want. BM3, Ecutek, Carbahn, etc... OR, once the OBDII port is open from the unlock you can install a tune thru the port yourself with the proper cable and software.

The shops will want to sell you the tune as well. You pay the same from the tuning co as the shop that's licensed AFAIK.
