What wheels fit the M2C?
Now i come from the world of S2000s and i know that wheel fitment can get a bit tricky. I also know that having a 2020 M2 Competition US spec is even more tricky due to the bigger brake calipers we get.
That being said i'm looking at the SSR GTX01 Wheel in 19x 9.5 +38. Would these fit the M2 Competition? Are these measurements a good starting point for wheel fitment? Also i might have to run a square setup and i realize the rears might look a bit weird since their 19x10.5 wheel doesnt seem to come in 5x120 which is weird to me. I do plan on tracking/autocrossing this car so i dont really want to be putting spacers on it, but would a 19x9.5 look weird in the rear? Any and all information about wheel fitment on an M2 Competition would be welcome. I've been non-stop looking through the forums but most of the information on here are either Apex wheel related or OG M2 related. Thanks |

There is no difference between OG M2 wheels and M2C wheels. Offsets and fitment are the same.

I think 9.5 would look weird because the rear quarter panels stick out further than the fronts. It's gonna look super tucked. Im still trying to decide what wheels to get as well and I might just end up swapping the front brakes to have more wheel variety.

There are a number of fitments for the "standard" M2 as you know but the Competition is limited to 19"+ due to the brake size. We designed a fitment specifically for the M2C using our EC-7 wheel design and have created the following fitment:
Front: 19x9.5" ET28 with 265/30-19 tires Rear: 19x10.5" ET45 with 295/30-19 tires
- Max

Have to be careful though since Competition models outside of the US don't come standard with the larger brakes.

I love those BBS FI-R’s but I’m not spending $8k for wheels.
