Honestly, I never had an issue with it at all. I'm 5'7" and can easily reach back and grab the seatbelt.

Here's the one I use. It's a bit "German" -- over engineered like the Porsche cupholders but it's okay. Made in "-Jina". Had to add the little clear bump stops to keep the belt from sliding out even this is a wee bit impractical but does the job. Previously, I just slid the belt off and wrapped it around the head rest and that worked fine unless you're a big person then that's a little awkward too. So simple a problem you'd think they would have done like Lexus and added a sliver of leather to hold it in place. Oh welll....
