Hmm. Has no value for any 2020 2 series.

I believe Mint has an integration with KBB to determine car property values:

$51,000 for my 2019

Thats a good price for 2019. However it doesnt show anything for M2C 2020 and above, i can understand it doesnt show for 21 yet but it should show 20 M2C values

I’ve been tracking used M2C on Autotrader since I bought my 21 a few weeks ago. And I’m a little disappointed at how quickly they’re depreciating. Been seeing some 2018 models in the mid-40s, and 2019 models in the high 40s. Seems steep given the pedigree. Cest la vie.

I think you'll find that your M2C will depreciate less than many other new BMWs. I bought mine new for 58k two years ago and it's still worth north of 50k after many miles.

I just saw a local dealer post a 2018 M2 with 8k miles for sale at a list of $54k. Values are still out of whack. Similar cars were going to $40k pre-pandemic. I suspect we’ll see a catch-up in depreciation, but right now if you bought your car at a good price, you’re probably in a great spot still. At least in my case, this is irrelevant—I promised my wife that this would be my “fun dad car,” so I’d get some guff if I tried to press my luck and switch it out in the next 5-7 years. That being said, I have no desire to do that.

I guess I'm biased...well certainly I'm biased :-) I do believe that the M2 and the S55 models in particular are going to hold up for resale. It's the last model with analogue guages and DCT if you like autos. I believe the upcoming 2023 M2 is going to be bigger, heavier and yes more powerful. I think my M2C is very well balanced which is a rare thing. As I said I admit being biased!

Looking at cars.com, the lowest price used 2020 M2C for sale in America is $49K. The average price is closer to $60K while the outlier is $69K.

Meaning, in real world, you would get somewhere in the ballpark of low $50s. I know that if i were to trade my car in, I wouldn't do it for anything under $55K. Which isn't bad if you think about it, I had the car for a year and a half now and it only depreciated by like $6K.

I think i got lowballed on trade in for my M2C at a porsche dealer , they offered 53K for my 2021 M2C having 2200 miles in mint condition. My expectation was 58k

What do you think realistically my car trade in value should be?

I'll go out and say that a new M2C with your options can be had for $60k NEW (+tax of course). So a used with 2500 miles will likely get a private party buyer for about $54-55k, and a trade in of $52k. Just my guess

2020 M2 in KBB shows 55K , mine is a 2021. Private party prices are somewhere between 59-60K. 52 does look pretty low

It does seem low, but thats closer to trade in reality. I'll be honest, I have similar spec, but with more expensive DCT and no roof plus a bunch of small add-ons, and I paid below $60k new. So a new spec like yours can easily be had for $60k or less, so no one will pay $59k for a used. You likely will get $55-56 from a private party. Dealers have to make money so they'll go even lower. I could, of course, be totally wrong, but I'm using my thought process here if I was buying your car. Good luck!

Fyi MT is higher in demand than a DCT and will sell at a higher price.

Anyone know what the highest mileage M2c has sold for? Haven't seen one over 20k miles for sale yet, expected since it's only been available for a few years

A person can pickup a brand new '21 for < $60k, so expecting 58 on a trade-in is high. Private party sell is best bet to max selling price, but doubt anyone on this forum would give you $58 unless car has additions they want.

Curious about wanting to move to a P-car after only 2k miles. $58k is just about a 6% discount off of MSRP, so I think you are unrealistic anybody would pay that for a used one - I'm kind of thinking that the 53k is a good offer. I'd have expected them to gouge another 5k, figuring that anybody who would seriously consider that swap isn't going to care about losing a few thousand.
