I ordered my M2 Comp with out the Exec pack. The led head lights came on the car and they also move. I was surprised.

I would assume whoever wants one can get it as I see plenty of availability. So I guess most people won't get it bc of price, not bc it's difficult to find one for sale.

I would bet that buying an M2C and investing the difference in price between the M2C and M2CS would put you way ahead after 5+ years. The M2CS is a cool car and certainly rarer, and it might hold it’s value better, but it’ll likely still depreciate. It certainly won’t be an investment.

Do you have the speed limit info as well?
That's one I thought would be genuinely useful to me and now I see it's included as standard.

Also curious there. All the above said, I paid the $1200 strictly for the heated wheel. It was also one of the reasons I turned down a sticker blue/gold/red/6mt M2CS offer as well. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Don't tell BMW.

I have a M2C on order that’s about to go into production. I didn’t order the executive package but my order has the adaptive lights listed on the build.

That must mean they are trying to unload the adaptive light stock at end of model run or the chip shortage somehow is impacting the standard lights.

I think you’re right. The adaptive headlights are the only option that I wanted in the executive package. Thanks for posting your cross country road trip. It might convince me to change my color to sunset metallic orange and get back to SC for some 1:1 time with Donnie.

Mine has adaptive headlights listed in the build too. But it also says blue calipers which others have said isn't right. Has anyone else actually gotten the headlights recently without adding the exec package?

So you're saying that your build lists option 552, but not the Executive package? If so, that's great!

I looked at the lowest priced in-stock M2Cs in the country on Kilter and their build sheets via Mdecoder.com. It looks like cars without Executive Package are getting the Adaptive LED Lights (option 552) and Automatic High Beams (5AC) but not the rest of the package (wireless charging, speed limit info, heated steering wheel).

• 2021 M2C 6MT in LBB at Chapman BMW near Phoenix, MSRP $60,445, no paid options - but it has 552 and 5AC
• 2021 M2C 6MT in BSM at Classic BMW in Plano, TX, MSRP $60,445, no paid options - but it has 552 and 5AC
• 2021 M2C 6MT in SO at BMW of Bellevue in Bellevue, WA, MSRP $61,495, optioned with moonroof but no Executive Package - it has 552 and 5AC

Anyone still planning to order a final production M2C could definitely consider trying to skip the Executive Package and get free Adaptive LED Headlights.

Fortunately they have allocation coming this week, which should get me a shiny LBB of my own in the summer.
I added the VIN to MyBMW to see where it is and I see it's getting close. Be interesting to see about the lights for sure.

Might be a nice way to save some cash depending on how much you value the other options with the exec package.

Hi Guys,

I got an allocation last week and I did not add exec package as the build sheet shows adaptive headlights and auto high beams already.
Also, strange, it lists blue calipers and I was expecting silver 6 pots.

and they confirmed silver calipers for me and not blue.

At the VPC in the US. They make it onto the new car monroney and are then in the new car warranty.
