From my angle, it looks like just cosmetic damage, that could of been easily sanded down and painted back but if you say the bumper's undercarriage mounting tabs snapped, then yea, I would probably replace it also. The ABS plastic used in modern bumpers tabs are made to collapse in a collision and absorb any impact. I worked in a body shop before, I've seen much more severe damage brought back to perfection. And my boss was sort of either a cross between a shrewed businessman or scumbag, depending how you see it because if a customer came in bitching for a complete replacement, for something that can be easily repaired, he would of happily charge them for a new replacement, repair that same bumper and polish it down to a factory luster. The customer would be overcharged, none the wiser but contented. Win-win, everyone's happy.. |

About how much was it for the front bumper replacement? I ask because I had some curb fun after spinning out a month or so ago, and the bottom of the front fascia took it pretty hard. You can't tell it from the top, but I need to get it fixed. I really don't want to turn it into insurance if it isn't too costly. Thanks for any insight!

About $900 for a new OEM bumper, plus between $500 to $800 to repaint and swap the PDC sensors. The M2C is still a fairly new model, so the aftermarket didn't carbon copy yet, thus, OEM is the only option available. So a little under $2,000 - give or take.. You can ask them to paint the unsightly front amber reflectors, which they'll usually do gratis - if you're into that kind of things.. Probably save you a $120 or so, instead of buying concealed inserts from sources like IND. |

That is what you get for cleaning the wheels! Give it a couple miles, a few pumps of the brakes and brake dust will make it all good again. . . lovely matted braked dust finish. The road always wins the cosmetic war. ///AVM |

Yeah, this was literally 2 days after I washed the car and wheels. You can see how much brake dust in on them already, which I wiped away. I am not too bothered about it, bound to happen, plus my quickly becoming friends with my wheel guy . Tomorrow, after this storm passes us, I plan to ceramic coat my winter wheels, and then I'll do the same to the 788s before they get put on next spring

Picked up just a few bugs driving OR-CA-OR and dodging wildfires. +1 for PPF.

Someone is advertising screens for these inlets on facebook. Stuff like this, and the bug "damage" I've seen already, makes me think I'm going to have to add them to the mod list.

My car was rear ended...
I was rear ended in a traffic light. The car is 5 months old. I don't feel too bad about it. I'm actually happy that I handled an accident, which is my first.
Main damage was a broken rear diffuser but I'll see what the body shop says. The bumper doesn't show any obvious damage. The broken diffuser is not that easy to see if you don't pay attention. |

Was it leaking? I had a similar thing on track and its holding.
