How does one determine which brand makes good tires. I feel like I only see negative comments whenever tire selection is made.

This is a genuine question as I need to purchase summer or performance tires soon.

Often times its personal taste... However there are the few Exotic Race/Track Tires which wouldn't be very good to use on the day to day... Those are the ones people go cray cray over (Trofeo R/ Sport Cup 2s)

Tire Rack is a good place to start... My thoughts are the best performance tires are made by Michelin & Pirelli.

Don't like the host, love the car and video, especially the music/vo free lap. Was lucky enough to see one of these at Cars and Coffee SF back in February and it is every bit as bad ass as this video demonstrates.
