New 2021 M2C Owner

Proud new owner of a 2021 AW M2C and joining the M2 forum community. I was previously an owner of a 2016 AW DTC M3 and did a trade-in.

Went with the 6MT with Executive package and added the MPE exhaust and some carbon bits prior to pick up this week. I plan to use this one as a DD and have 641M wheels with Continental snow tires on the car now.

I've only driven about 100 miles so far but my first impressions are that this is a very special car at this price point. Can't wait to get through the break-in period and then have some fun.

I'm about a month away from picking up my 2021 in LBB. Car is waiting to be loaded onto the ship in Germany and then I'll take delivery at the PCD. I'm in the West Bloomfield/Novi area. Hope to see you on the road!

Hey I'm near Ann Arbor. I just ordered my M2c. By the way do you guys know any places where you can have an aftermarket exhaust installed?

Any M2 group just for SE michigan owners? We should all do a meet up! anyone have instagram here?

Heck yea, I don't have anything scheduled yet but I am considering a half cage, race seat and harness for next season.

I daily my M2, so while I'd love to have a half cage and race seats, it's not practical to install them for track days.

Additionally, you may want to make sure you get a second race seat and harness. A lot of clubs require equal restraints, and if you end up at any new tracks you haven't ran, you likely wont be in the solo class right away.

Nice. Have you done one before though? I just don't want to risk anything since it's a brand new car. I'm sure I can watch videos and tinker around with it as well, but would rather have someone who really knows what they are doing. I work in Ann Arbor. It seems like my M2 may have major delays due to covid. Dealer is now saying May-June.

I'm happy to help install as well. I've removed and replaced my exhaust and midpipe a couple of times on my M3. M2C is the same mostly.
If you don't have access to a lift, you can rent a lift by the hour at http://mymechanics********** in Livonia. Very reasonable pricing, access to tools, etc...

Congrats and welcome!! I am roughly two weeks into the amazing ride wit my 2019 M2C and am stupid happy!

So many fun things to do not only with the car but in the car.. have fun!
