Data logging without tuning software
Hi, is there a way to do data logging without flashing tuning software on my car? I suspect that I have a boost leak, but I cannot confirm without data.
car is n55 m2, 17.

1) Torque pro is the cheapest app out there with graphable data and csv output, but you may need RAM PID's for boost targets and other parameters.
2) Bimmer link is the next cheapest and all the data can be graphed and has csv out put as well 3) MHD sells the monitor module separate, this along with their wifi adapter will have the fastest data output. 4) ISTA+ it is free, but the live data output sucks as you cannot graph it. This makes it hard to interperate anything. Option 2 and 3 are likely the better bet as you can plot boost target and boost actual over rpm, and see wgdc which will help you determine if you are hitting boost targets letting you know if there is a leak. WGDC will let you know in conjunction with missing boost targets if you are indeed leaking. If not then it could be the car pulling back.
