Soundcheck

Also check out the sound clip of the new BMW M2. Doesn't that N55 sound so good for a turbo-charged engine?!

Thanks for posting these videos. So 0-60 in about 5.1 to 5.2 seconds? Am I seeing that right?

Well guys, first of all, 5 seconds ain't slow. 2nd, you have to know that achieving manufacturer claims is not easily done, especially in a manual car. I am sure you can launch it quicker, but the average driver will take around 5 seconds.

The surface wasn't at optimum, tank was half full, temperature was high, I was at around 1500 feet of elevation -> not ideal conditions for a launch.

The car feels very quick though.

I agree. All those factors will definitely add some time. My question is has the 1200 miles service been done on this M2?

Edit: Just kidding, I see the mileage now.

I'm sure if traction control didn't kick in at 0:04 seconds we would see a quicker time.

Right. Yes service has been done

I am actually not too sure about it, because the TC didn't really cut power. The TC in the M2 works very well. If it significantly would have cut power, I would have done another take. But it might just cost another 1/10th or so.
