There is a map on BM3. Its named OEM CS (not on the multimap). It runs flawlessly and the part throttle is spot on.
+1 zero point custom tuning if this is what you’re after, waste of time and money.

Use that map config to dial out your throttle aggression on any map and you’re done.

I also have a strong preference for the smooth OEM feel of the M2 CS tune over the more powerful OTS Stage 1 tune, which is why I have used it for the last two years.

But recently, I found the perfect solution which is the JordanTuned S55 93OCT ProTune OTS+ tune. This is how the car should have come from factory and this is how the BM3 Stage 1 OTS tune should be.

Not only is it smoother than the CS tune in both Sport and Sport+, but it is also significantly stronger than the BM3 OTS Stage 1. Best of all, no need to worry about the testing and data logging typical of a custom tune.

The cherry on top is the shifting on 6MT which is also much improved over stock and over all the other OTS tunes that I have tried. Short of a custom tune, this is the best of both worlds.

Highly recommended!

Interesting, what do you mean about the shifting?

I guess the only thing different is the sensitivity of the pedal, you can do this yourself in settings.

The stock tune hangs the rpm artificially high between shifts which makes smooth shifting a challenge and not optimal. Some tunes fix this problem and the rpms drop between shifts like it should. For people that love perfect shifts hanging rpm is extremely frustrating.

I thought rev hang was a mechanical thing not tuneable thing.

Flash tunes can definitely change rev hang. In the old days there was a mechanical dash pot to buffer the revs. Those days are long gone.

Oh so it's not mechanical anymore. Interesting. I need to look into that.

Anybody know if the BM3 M2CS tune can eliminate the rev hang?

It is also sometimes a byproduct of needing to make sure all fuel is burned to meet emissions or protect catalysts.

It is better than stock but not as good as BM3 ACN 91 Stage 1. It's the tune that is dumbed down from the normal 91 to compensate for lower octane 91 gas in the west. However it is still plenty fast. Fast enough that using power reduction by gear definitely helps traction.

I do 10~ track days a year so I don't want to do a stage 1 tune, much rather do a little more HP that's still "stock"

boost by gear is a good idea although I never floor it in 1st gear anyway LOL

Did you mess around with any of the other settings… burbles etc? Thanks again

I left everything as intended by JordanTuned except that I removed the speed limiter.

Just updated my tuning today, was running the bm3 m2 cs tune for over 2 years, today i flashed my m2c with the bm3 cs+ tune ( m4cs like but with more top end)

The cs+ tune is without a doubt faster than the m2cs tune i had. Very strong midrange and top end.

The power delivery is very nice too, i have no problem putting power down in low gears 1-2-3. Acceleration is pretty fast.

Very happy with the update, more torque too make a great difference

I read on another post that this tune make around 460 whp and 480 wtq.

Worth to try it

I strongly believe that it's worth it to find a tune that doesn't go for max torque at the lowest rpm. I've never understood this tuning method. It sounds like the new tune fixes that spikey torque onset.
