So if you put in Sport, but your "sport configuration" is "chassis" only, then your throttle and transmission remain in "comfort" and only the steering is in Sport.
holy cow after 2+ years, I had no idea. I always selected both.

Engine driving modes

Hi does anyone know exactly what the different modes do ? I cant find the details anywhere.

Is it just the exhaust flaps ? There seems like too much a difference between efficient and sport + to just be the exhaust ? Is something changing with the fuel flow ?

That's what I was trying to understand a bit more , what exactly does it do to the throttle ? Is is pushing more fuel ? Does it change something with the gas pedal ? Does it change something on the turbos ?? what makes it go faster ?

Well this is how I look at it, and I am sure this is how BMW looks at it . - If you can actually heel toe properly and rev match properly which takes a very skilled driver - then you should have no problem driving this car with all the nannies off .
