Had the left door sill replaced under warranty. This was the first thing i saw when I collected the car (watch the bottom of the "p"). The passenger side is fine. You cannot see that glitch all the time, only in certain (darker) lighting conditions.

Well guess what.... the replaced one has exactly the same!

What is going on there, is some light bleeding through, or is it a reflection?

I just brought a flashlight out to my car. From the right angle with the right light there is a different reflective pattern at the bottom of the P. Actually it also runs along a slight bit of the bottom the M and E next to it. Might be that some type of a roller polished or compressed it slightly differently. Anyway, with mine it is very minor and I am not really a concerned.

It is a reflection. But you can only see it from a certain angle in certain lighting conditions. Maybe its somehow just polished the wrong way

I looked at it an all they did was take the bottom of the P (the only part lower than every other letter) and bent it downward/inward. That causes it to reflect light at a different angle than the rest of the letters (rest of the P for that matter)

Same here. First thing I looked at today when I took delivery, knowing it would bug me, but looking anyway. Nothing. Looked good.

...so I'm not looking anymore in case it's actually there and I missed it!
