Will the M2's brake pad sensors work with these pads or do the need to be tied off?

Yes, these do come with sensor cutouts. If you are switching pads all the time, it's best to tie the sensor off.

Excellent, thank you.

Understand the reasoning if changing pads a lot.

In my case, I'm thinking about swapping these with the OEM for daily use and would prefer to keep the wear sensor in place.

If you carefully remove the sensor each time, you should be able to use the sensor over several times. Since you are swapping pads, you should consider the DS1.11 for track duty. DS2500 is more of a hybrid pad for those not looking to sway between street and track.
